The story behind GLY

Made with purpose. Tested by 5,000 kids.

GLY started long before the plushie. Founder JC Das — a music producer turned monk — spent six years in monastic training, then brought what he learned to kids: first as a chaplain at USC, then in schools, hospitals, and living rooms across the U.S., teaching over 5,000 children, parents, and teachers to breathe together.

Along the way, GLY grew into hundreds of guided meditations, a children’s book, and a mobile game. The plushie is the next chapter — a calm friend kids can actually hold.

GLY doesn’t move on his own — press his chest and he guides your child through “breathe in, breathe out” with calming audio and breathing sounds.
